Event Description

The Indy 500 is the premier event of the 2010 season and the third race that will be televised on ABC. 2010 will feature one less day of track time than 2009 and will consist of just one weekend of qualifications.

Firestone Indy Lights will race in the Freedom 100 which takes place on Carb Day (friday before the 500). The Freedom 100 is the first oval of the season and is the premier event on the Lights schedule. Nearly 75,000 fans witnessed Wade Cunningham win the 2009 Freedom 100.
