Seems like a big announcement for just a one race deal. Indy500.com is saying a current team will add a driver and sponsor.
Oh boy..... That is all I have to say....
Adding PT is a big deal. Love him or loathe him, he's certain to bring more attention to the sport.
My sole and only knowledge of PT is what I have read on the Indycar.com site and on this site and he is made to sound like a terror. I just hope he confines his antics to off the race course displays and does not act badly, on purpose, on the race course. Too many dire consequences to acting up or acting out on the course under speed. Just ask Vitor.
Good, good news..New sponsor, new driver, even if it is one race. Walker sounds like it is perhaps a jumping off point to bigger things next year.
In being a huge Candian race fan, this is awesome news to promote the race (s) up here. I've been to every Vancouver race, 6 or 7 Toronto races and moved to Edmonton in 06 and have been involved with all 3 previous races here.
Lets hope PT doesn't end up 2nd Lol!!!!!

I'm not expecting too much from him in the race, but from a media standpoint, he will do nothing but give great soundbites and attention for IndyCar, whether you like him or despise him, nobody can accuse him for not giving his all every race weekend.
I am not a fan of PT but I do agree that he will bring in a fan base, especially in Canada.
