An absolute MUST for any pre-race roadtrip (I live in Nebraska, therefore attending any "big" races require roadtripping) is the CD "Straight To Hell" by Hank III (aka Hank Williams III). The title track is pure adrenaline. Otherwise, I'm totally gonna have to say:
"Galaxy 500" by Reverend Horton Heat
"Jesus Built My Hot Rod" by Ministry
"Bad Habit" by the Offspring
"Dying to Know" by Pennywise
And anything by Social Distortion... They (like Hank III) totally kick ass!
Somebody Told Me by The Killers. Something about that song just makes me wanna hop in my kart and get down to business lol!!
Back home again in Indiana!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea, I must agree!!
Running Down a Dream... Tom Petty
Life is a Highway... Rascall Flatts
Move Along... The All-American Rejects

And if it's a road trip to a race:
Coming To Your City... Big and Rich
Definatley Life is a Highway!!
I have two -- Speedway at Nazareth by Mark Knopfler and, that great old classic, the Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen version of Hot Rod Lincoln.
How about "Start the Car" by, I think, Don Henley?
Love that !! and Don Henley
Ha ha ha!! My other song that makes me wann go racin is "Feedback" by Janet Jackson. I know its weird but the beat is so fun.
LMAO! Haha. You're right about the beat though!
I know it also totally makes me wanna walk like a supermodel too!!
