You go, Diggity! I heard this yesterday myself but was too busy to even get on here. Yep, pretty interesting to see where this goes. I too was told that he would not race any ovals, including Indy. Even if we only get him for some road events, it's still cool. We'll see.

Article up today says ovals could be done...if his wife lets him...

sebastien bourdais, but that does not really count does it, so sato as far as full timers go.

The last few F1 refugees ended up in nascar (narain karthikeyan and nelson piquet jr, kimi never got serious.)

But a driver of the caliber of rubens barrichello would only raise the credibility of the series.  The brazilians are going to love it.

Has Kimi EVER been serious?

 :)

Sure he has. Can you not tell from his facial expression?

LOL! "Formula Vettel"  -  you mind if I steal that?

Looks like the Florida testing is going very well for Barrichello. I am told:

- That he was very fast right out of the gate and has not even pushed anything yet.

- His testing has been extended by a day.

- He went to party hosted by TK with Helio, Power and Servia on hand and was amazed how well they all got along.

- Randy Bernard has gone to FL to meet with him and Vasser to see if there is anything he can do to help foster a deal.

- That Rubens told an INDYCAR Series reporter that that the matter of him telling his wife he would not run ovals or Indy has been "solved." I hope this does not mean his marriage is now going to be on the rocks, but it also may indicate that we could possibly see him on ovals.
