Danica follow the money. You will be much richer and famous in the end and you can have a career in racing for as long as you want. Maybe even a car owner someday.

No that is a fine idea! But don't think  Andretti racing would be willing to give up Go Daddy money for the rest of the season.  Andretti Racing is all about Marco Andretti.

But then again Danica is racing this weekend in Daytona, while all the other IndyCar "stars", well, don't

race anywhere.

Don't think there will be an opening at Andretti when she leaves, not with out a sponsor.

It sure gets old IICS being the bug and NAPCAR being the windshield.

They're interest isn't exactly booming these days,either

I'll believe DP's leaving when I see it,just like the others.

But I guess that's all you can expect when the windshield is so much bigger that the bug, and you can still see clearly through the windshield.
I agree Randy, I'll believe it when I see it. If what she's repeatedly said is true ("I've always made the decision on who I race for by deciding where I have the best chance of winning"), then she'll stay in IndyCar. If she was lying (or just pulling our leg) she'll leave. I think, as much as I'd like her to stay, IndyCar will survive (and yes thrive) either way.
Some of her loyal fans will be sad to see her go,,,but I think there are a lot of young drivers who will be able to step into her car and WIN,,building a new fan base for Indycar,,,,,so,,goodbye Danica and good luck..
Any true Danica fan will get to see a lot from of her in NASCAR, and won't look at it as a "goodbye", but as a welcome to the big show.
Beautifully stated, Mr. RaceFan.  Alot of us will miss her in Indy Car but I believe the series is moving in the right direction and will survive just fine--we'll just be looking at alot of those green shirts on alot of those little NASCAR fans.  The Indy Danica era was quite the era, wasn't it?
And don't forget, Go Daddy may find a way to get her in the 500 as a one off. Dan Wheldon handled his one off just fine! NASCAR in this era has proven to be more about show business than just pure racing talent anyway. Not a knock on Danica, but it's simply a fact. She's not one of the 10 best IndyCar drivers today, but Dale jr. isn't one of the best cup drivers and yet he still has the most fans. If she does leave, I say good luck, you're going to need it!
