The place for all INDYCAR fans

I will admit it, I didn't sit down and watch the race.  I was at my Aunt and Uncles house for a while.  They had the race on.  I probably watched 3 laps of follow the leader.  My wife and I left their house with probably 70 laps to go.  We went to DQ, and then to the store to pick up grocries.  Drove home (we live in a different town), and put everything away.   I wanted to see who won the race so I turned on the tv.    I couldn't believe it, the race was still on.   I turned the tv off, ordered a pizza, went into town and picked it up, came home again, turned the tv on again to see who won and it was still on.  They had a red flag do to water I guess.  I guess they have never heard of hydrolic (sp) cement.  They could have had the problem fixed in 15 minutes and been back to racing.   I ate my pizza and decided to watch the last 10 laps or so.   I didn't think it was possible but I think it took 40 minutes to run those laps.  At least it seemed like a life time to me.   But just as bad as watching napcrap was having to listen to the two hillbillies in the booth.    That was painful.  I'm glad I didn't have to sit and watch that race.  I would be bald right now if I would have.    Other than the money, can someone explain why  Wanica, Hornish and others have went to napcrap?   Now I remember why I stopped watching them in the mid to late 90's.

Come on Indycar, get your act together.   Don't give us an ugly car.  Get more than one body style in there.  Get more than one engine in the series.   Get more American drivers.  And good Lord, get more oval.    I don't know how anyone can think napcrap is a better series.  They have better marketing, and probably a lot smarter people running the show.   But it's not a better series, and there is no way the racing can even be talked about on the same level.

Yeah it kills me to see espn cover them like they are god like! And danica wow she is going to reach a new level of stardom and man are they going to cash in on her. I watched the end of that horribly long race and I was not impressed. Bring on the open wheels.
I COULD NOT AGREE MORE!!!- WITH BOTH ISSUES...What Nascab DOES have is the ability to market their drivers!..and that is the difference..I ALSO QUIT WATCHING CABS IN THE 90'S..THE FANS ARE IGNORANT, AND NASCAR AND FOX KEEP ON FEEDING THE SHEEP!, AS LONG AS FANS KEEP ON PADDING THE DRIVER (AND CREW CHIEFS) WALLETS,IT WILL NOT CHANGE..NO ONE COMPLAINS..TOO BAD..---IRL SPONSERS ARE TO BLAME,AMONG OTHERS,OR AS THEY SAY..(AS I HAVE TO WATCH THE GOPHER CAM).. (INVENTED AT I.R.P.)----THAAATS ENTERTAINMENT!!! I'M JUST GLAD MY WOMAN HAS ALL HER OWN TEETH!!
The 2010 Daytona 500, captured a 7.7 overnight rating on FOX. This is the lowest rating since 1991 when the race ran on CBS. They did say that over 29 million people watched some or parts of the race, which was up from 26 million last year. The 7.7 rating didn't count the delays, if you count the delays it was a 6.5 rating. NOT good for the cabs.... but I don't really mind.
Hard to argue your point!

Its not racing anymore if everyone knows they are going to do it until they get the result they want
