Indy 500 disappointment
Don't get me wrong, I love the race. My heart goes out to TK and Vito. I really think TK needs an investigation on his car, just my opinion but me thinks someone doesnt want TK to win the championship. BUT, my real issues are two things. Now keep in mind I am no expert by any means (unlike my husband, Mikey that knows everything, He really should be working for the speedway in someway) anyway issue one:
1. Go Daddy.com, since when did the IRL sanction porn. I seen 2 commercial and the sexual inundo's were unbelievable. I didn't care much for Wanica but now I have no respect for her.
2.The coke lot, maybe I am showing my age but get real. This is a privlage to go to the Indy 500 and I would say over 50% of the (kids) in that lot don't have a clue. Our main question was, what is your pic and the main answere was "probally danica cuz I'm a dude. They didn't have a clue, just there for the party. We had one kid wonder into our camp and didn't have a clue where he was, so wasted. No respect for the real Indy fans that need the porta poddies, I cannot believe if you get so wasted that you cannot hit the hole then DONT DRINK. It was disgusting. Then the really SAD part was after the race and we went to pack up camp and the fire trucks had to come for the fires left burning and the trash, OMG pick up after yourself's are you not young adults. This made me very sad that the "Greatest sporting spectical in the world" has so much disrespect towards it. I'm sorry to be on a soap box, but come on!!!!!!! If your not there for the race, DON'T COME and take up space.
I love the race, the drivers and the sport. Please don't ruin it! I wish I had taken pics of the lot to show the disrespect.
I want to thank the real race fans for respecting the place and sharing our love of the race.
3. I would still like to see some TASTEFUL advertising for the IRL, what is TG's problem. TK should be runnning into 7Eleven for diapers and Helio should be driving a penske truck and racing Brisco. Grahm Rahal should be running into McDonalds with a stop watch and Dario should be shopping at target for clippers for his hair. How hard is that to figure out. I am sick of watching pugy Tony Stewart staring at his car.

I agree about the sex sells and that irl needs more coverage. I know its just racing, but my heart goes out to TK he deserves the win. I do have the right to my opinion and I don't mind the parting its all in fun, but when I see young mothers stupid drunk pushing their babies around late at nite in strollers in the middle of that and the disrespect of the land I just get really upset. I am there for the race and thats what its all about. Didn't mean to offend any one just thought someone should say it. I've always believed if you cant handle your drinking then don't drink. Anyway, I love the race and I think that the irl is way overdue for some really good advertising. Thats all!!
