Thoughts on the Texas race
Texas is always know for great side by side races and finish's but not this year. By Texas standerds this years race was pretty lackluster and not alot of side by side action and what was with that caution at lap 150 ?That was like a nascar caution they never showed any debis? And finally i have tried really hard to be a Marco fan ( mostly beacuse of his father and grandfather) and after listining to his comments after the race I am at a lose for words, Danica raced him clean and hard ( like she is supposed to) and then for him to talk crap about it and say 3of the 4 teammates are on the same page ? I think he might want to look in the mirror and see if he is the bad seed! He is a spoiled brat who has to throw a fit because she did not pull over and let him go ? it was the end of the race and everyone is racing for points dude grow up and keep your bad comments to yourself. I am looking forward to this weekend's short track racing and waiting to see who will be pissed and ready to fight after some good tight side by side beating and banging.

Both of you are absolutely right. I thought that the Texas race offered better racing action than Kansas or Indy, but that's not saying much. The action was pretty much limited to restarts and clever use of lapped traffic. The one exception was Briscoe who absolutely dominated the entire field until that "competition caution". Lets call it what it really is. Barnhart was getting tired of seeing Briscoe lap one person after another, all the way up to P8 by lap 150 and he got bored. Nevermind that us fans in the stands were watching Briscoe's masterful performance excitedly and taking wagers on whether he'd end up lapping the field before taking the win. Hey, he was on pace for it! P2 was 2/3 of a lap behind him when the yellow came out.

It kills me to be negative but if the series does not fix there problems very soon the fans will be gone. It is a shame that it has come to this but as already stated with the same car and same engine and same tires the same team is always winning. And then to throw a caution to bunch the field up ! give me a break this is racing not nascar. I will never forget when I heard someone in nascar say that they are in the entertainment business not racing wow ! I grew up watching real racing on dirt and at the famed IMS when men where men and drivers helped each other as friends. Now you have dribbling nose whinny little bit%#'s crying about everything. Lets drop the drama and open the flood gates with all manufactures and bring racing and technology back to american open wheel racing.

Isle of Mann TT sounds like a roadtrip Aaron. That race is for real racers no winning allowed. I am starting to agree with X we need to give control back to the teams and let them run the series and the TG can focus on the 500 and getting F1 back, I bet Mr Penske could run the series very well.

Have to agree about poor llittle Marco. What was DP supposed to do, just move over for him? Recall Edmonton last year, he speared her tire and shoved her off track (granted, they were both misbehaving in regard to TK).
I think the tilte of "Official AGR Whiner" has been transferred from Danica to Marco this season...

Danica is six years older than Marco and it is starting to show.She is maturing nicely. Marco would not likely be running if it were not for the family business. I'd like to see AGR drop Mutoh. I got nothing against him but I think if they had a three car team, they might be able to put more resources into figuring out how to beat Roger and Chip's boys , who are clearly dominate. TMS was a good example: AGR was pedaling for all they were worth and could not keep pace with the Gang of Four. Danica has managed to tip toe up to the gate of the elite but they are slamming that gate in her face, race after race.

AMEN..DALE SR. KNEW ALL ABOUT THEM T.V. CAUTIONS..THAT WAS A LITTLE TOO WIERD, WASNT IT? I AGREE IT WASNT THE USUAL TEXAS STYLE RACIN..BRISCO WAS REALLY DIALED IN! POOR T.K. , THEY CALL HIM THE CAPTAIN OF THAT TEAM.. I KNOW HERE IS A MAN WITH HIS HANDS FULL..HE IS BATTERED AND BRUSIED, AND IT SEEMS LIKE HE IS THE ONE CALLED UPON IN THAT CAMP, TO ALWAYS MAKE PEACE, AND SETTLE THE DUST..I HAVE TO AGREE WITH DANICA ON THAT ONE TOO....BUT, WE WILL BE IN IOWA (EVERY YEAR) HOPING FOR A BETTER RACE..DONT WANT TO MISS IT. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING UP SOME VERY GOOD POINTS!..
