I've added some pictures of my other favorite type of racing. These pictures are from a testing session on 6/20/2009. These boats will do about 200 mph on the straights and 150 - 165 mph per lap depending on the course configuration. The rest of my pictures from the test session can be found at

These boats are the old Miss Budweiser boats. They are now owned by Ted Porter from Decatur Indiana. They run in the ABRA series. http://www.h1unlimiteds.com/

Well, they're in Madison, IN this weekend, Detroit, MI next weekend & Evansville, IN the weekend of Aug. 21 -23. It's quite a bit different than auto racing. They run a series of heat races usually 4 laps to qualify for the final which is 5 laps. They generally run 3-5 boats per heat depending on the course. They are quite impressive to watch. If you get a chance they are well worth checking out. Have a safe 4th of July weekend
