Helio's victory, although not quite enough to win the championship, was an amazing feat! Coming from dead last in the field to win the race AND lead the most laps! That's just incredible! This reminded me of the 1992 Indy 500 when Scott Goodyear nearly accomplished the worst-to-first task, but just falling short going from P33 to finish 2nd behind Al Unser, Jr. in the closest finish to date. Going through the races I can remember (which aren't many), I couldn't think of another time when a driver charged from dead last to victory circle. How many times in IndyCar racing history has this happened?

It certainly sets a standard for what can be accomplished. With the addition of Dario next year the competition at the top is going to be fierce.
You're right Jim. It definitely raises the bar for future drivers to shoot for. Even so, it's a rare achievement to be sure, but it definitely made for a much more interesting race. On a side note, did anyone catch the video on Scott and his new wife? I think she's helping him be less of an "iceman" off track than he has been. Married life appears to be good for him. btw: Congrats to him on winning the Championship.
