The place for all INDYCAR fans

So anyone think tickets will start selling fast now with the merger official? I think sales will spike, but may take until 2009 until tickets sell way ahead of time.

The reason i mention this, is because for the past five years, i have bought tix from scalpers the morning of the race, usually for about half face value. But with the merger, wondering if I should go back to buying through IMS so i can own tickets before the the demand spikes again. Just curious what people think.

It will be HUGE this year. Scalpers will always help keep the demand up. But I'm hoping to see a huge Pole Day crowd. That will tell the difference.
As far as Indy tickets go... I dont worry too much...my father in law gets online the morning after the race and orders our tickets for the next year :) so until that isnt possible anymore then I will have to get on and do that as well :) we usually get all our race tickets as soon as they go on sale..to avoid any shortage issues.
Always get mine ordered right after the race for the next year. Have 6 seats, but most of the family has moved away or otherwise unable to go now. May have to downsize order. Although might be easier to sell tix now.
