If there are not fundamental changes in the way the IRL is run, Mari may not need to sell the IRL. It will collapse and die on it's own accord. If the rumors I'm hearing are true the new regulations for 2012-2020 will be exactly more of what we have…
Ran across this article in the Sept issue of RaceCar-Engineering. These guys may just be on to something. Check this out: http;//www.joeharmondesign.com
Tell me how you divide 17 races 50/50? There is only one more road/street course than ovals in the 2010 schedule. It is not definite that Milwaukee will not be on the schedule next year. The new promoters are trying to work out the details to get th…
I'm not sure if something like PhotoShop would take out the seams or not. Seems like it would have something that would allow you to balance across the whole image. Check with a local graphic design shop if you have one. They may be able to help you…
Gilbert, FYI, Reggie, who posts on Indy Car Garage, has started a site for Danica fans.

If ya feel like it, come on over and join up.

Yeah, not sure of what to make of my new friend larry on TB... But I have some ideas as far as who he/she/it may really be. What can ya do? Just a troll, I'm thinkin!
Nice to hear from you again, I've been hangin in the garage a bit more these days-- I like the sanity!
Hey there Grey Mouser!!...finally had a few minutes to stop by the garage...love your concept for the group, I joined it and look forward to participating in it...much better than talksmack!...thanks again!....
Yeah, I was kidding...we don't want this to become like Talksmack... at least people have to register here to chat. And hopefully when somebody starts to get out off line, we can drag them back or get them out before it goes too far.
About computer literacy...I've kinda had a crash course the past year, and if it weren't for keeping up with the IRL and chatting with friends I first met talking about racing, I never would have a reason to touch a computer. I still hate computers...but they're just too dang convenient...
Ha, ha, and I'd love to be the one to do it. I would like to take Chuckie storm chasing with me and see how long it takes for him to pee his pants. And don't get the idea I'm offended by "crude" humor or anatomical references--I'm not. It's just the context.
If there is one thing I love it's open wheel trivia, not to mention tech. There is a funny piece on the "Motodanica" site where she is pretending to be a Martha Stewart-type TV hostess. Danica speaks of loving the taste of "homemade motor oil". That's me, I just LOVE engines. I cut my teeth on McCulloch kart engines, then moved on to an old '67 GTO 6.5 liter muscle car. Wow, did we have fun working on that one.
And by the way, I am DONE with Talkback. There was a post there this morning that was so anti-female and anachronistic, I just about puked. Thanks for inviting me over here.
Gilbert, As you can see from my site(s) my work is not easily portable. I will not consider moving one of my sculptures (up to 5 tons) unless it's sold.
Could be that Sarah's best days lie ahead as a team owner ? As we all know, it's all about money and maybe she will be able to attract some money and more American drivers ?
