I was thinking 80 when Buddy Baker blew their doors off. He still holds the record for the fastest Daytona 500 at 177.602 mph!!! Now that was racing and NO BIG ONES!!! 76 and 79 were good ones too.

Peggy, That may be the Daytona 2 step this year. They've finally managed to screw with the rules so far that I don't think what we'll be seeing will much resemble racing!!! It ought to be a HOOT though!!! :-p

Hey Wrench! They need you in Daytona as an expert in pop-off valves. Seems they're mandateing them on the cooling systems to make the guys back off the draft to keep from overheating they're engines!!! THe sillyness continues! ROFLMAO!!!
