Have to agree about poor llittle Marco. What was DP supposed to do, just move over for him? Recall Edmonton last year, he speared her tire and shoved her off track (granted, they were both misbehaving in regard to TK).
I think the tilte of "Offic...

Hey lady-- it's been a while since I've heard from you! How are you? We had our first official round of twisters here in Neb. yesterday, and of course, I totally thought of you as I was sitting in the basement while the sirens were sounding...
Anyways, I was wondering if you have plans to make it to the Iowa 250 this year? I'll be there for sure-- already got my tickets and hotel reservations-- so look me up if you go!
Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
P.S.
Here's a link from the Lincoln newspaper about yesterday's storms:

WE had a "mini marathon" of the show-- they showed 4 episodes back to back-- and I DVR'ed all of them (I want miss Nicole K to see them next time she's over). Man, Peggy! You guys are seriously amazing! I LOVED the show. That episode with the Greensburg tornado gave me goosebumps. BTW, I am not surprised in the least that you would put the pedal to the metal in order to get to those storms! =)
I haven't spent much time on talkback lately, as most of the "personalities" there are a bit irritating lately... On that note, I'm hoping that Helio comes out of everything relatively unscathed-- I love that guy, and it would be a shame to lose him over something like this.
One last thing...
Are you planning on going to the 500 in 2009? I think I'm going to try to make it to the race, and it would be great to see ya. Of course that IS twister time, and you might be busy chasing!
Hey Lady! I'm watching you on TV!!! WE is airing episodes of "Twister Sisters" and right now they are showing the one from 2007 that re-visits the Hallam storm in 2004-- talking about the Togstad boys... Awesome indeed! Hope you're well, and I'll talk to you later!
That was cool--and the comments were great! Can't say the writers were too far off the mark. Yesterday two of my chaser friend were married, and the minister commented it was a good thing it was a sunny day, or none of the wedding party would have showed up!
Oh yes, that was the storm that hit the Boy Scout Camp near Council Bluffs. If you want, I will gladly send you one of our videos. If you don't want to post your address here, you can send it to me at peggy@twistersisters.com. I will be out of town for a week but as soon as I get back I'll put it in the mail.
First, about the Hallam tornado: HOLY CRAP! =)
Would love to see the video from that storm-- I did see the "Storm Stories" episode on TWC about that storm, but would like to see it from a chaser's perspective!
That pic was taken by my dad's girlfriend (she's here on the garage-- her nam is Tam) as she was driving home from work. And yep, it did touch down shortly after she took the pic-- she was pretty surprised with what she saw, I think! She works in Omaha and lives in the town of Yutan, which is just west of Omaha. That storm would be the same one that produced winds that killed two people in Council Bluffs, IA. I think it was the end of June when that storm hit.
Wow, very nice! Thanks so much for doing that. Just by accident you picked one of my favorite shots--that big wall cloud over the Badlands of South Dakota! It is SO beuatiful out there, even without the storms. By the way, my dad was one hell of a poker player :-)
Finally got a short article written about the TwisterSisters at http://doug.the-pattersons.net/ Let me know if you approve, or if there's something you think I should add/alter/omit.
"Earnhardt Jr. single handily could bring the Indy 500 back to its heydays of attendance every time he set foot in IMS" WHAT???? The only reason why he is "popular" is thanks to his dad. For someone who has started 345 races and only has a winning...
I'm counting on Will Power to figure in this somehow. I'm sure Andretti will play pit strategy to get his drivers into the mix, but there has been a surprise of some sort in each road/street course venue run so far this season. With Justin Wilson ...
Hendrick Motor sports driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. was in Indianapolis on Thursday to promote the upcoming All-State 400 at the Brickyard and was supposed to receive a two-seater from fellow National Guard sponsored driver Dan Wheldon of the IndyCar...
