I have only heard that there will definitely be a series sponsor for 2009 - no word on 2008. I would be very surprised if they were able to secure a sponsor for this year, but there is still a month left to do it.

I agree with your desire for ovals. 50% would be good. I'd hate to see it slide back to the 30% it was in the early 90s.
