the over hyping of nascar

last night i watched the coke zero 400 from daytona wow! it was so underwhelming. to watch 43 cars driving round daytona wasn't very interesting. i've gotta be fair, the booing of kyle busch by the jr nation, the hyping of the event which cleary didn't warrant the hype. there was empty seats at the race which isn't the first time i've noticed this. the news this week of ganassi shutting down his 40 team is a sign that sponsors aren't so easy to find for nascar. $15 million a season isn't so… Continue

- it happened late in febuary something all of us open wheel fans had been hoping for. one series. possibly not the ideal car. but the fact that there is one series and not two half baked series is so much better. a series that will hopefully one day push the great days of cart. in 2010 when the new car does come i hope it does have a ground effect chassis and a v6 2liter turbo. perhaps. and no silly standing starts i hope alot of champ cars invovations shall we say don't come across. maybe the red tyres would be good thou?
