Hi, Im Jay from the UK 28, long time Indycar fan, it started when Mansell crossed the pond in 1993 I was a fan of his anyway and also was the first time we had Indycar on terrestrial TV here to my memory, and his first race was as great event at Surfers and I was hooked from there.
From then on I've collected as many Indycar race's as I can, I started recording what was show on TV and I have a couple of friends in the USA that have sent me some things as well and I have amassed quite a good collection of races :) I was especially pleased to see ESPN Classic allowing us to relive so many historic Indy 500's in May 2011 with the 100th Anniversary of the first 500 :)
Not sure if this is just my thing or does anyone else collect footage of old races and still love to watch them over and over? If anyone else has any races on tape or DVD I would love to hear from you and discuss these old classic race's :)
Looking forward to my stay here :)
