Why no money won list in IndyCar?
Other than the Indy 500, race payout and money won is never listed. Is Dan Wheldon the leading money winner in IndyCar having only run one race? Carl Edwards leads in NASCAR with one win and $5,037,194 in winnings, after 16 starts, how does IndyCar payout compare? Are they still using the same system of a few yeas ago when every starting car was paid the same.
Anyone know how much IZOD pays to be a title sponsor?

In my understanding, the full time teams get around 1.7 million ($100,000 per race) to run the season from IndyCar and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd get a bonus amount for every race other than Indy. Indy is the only race which pays, prize money in the traditional way. I think the bonus money is $50,000 to the winner, $35,000 to 2nd place, and 25,000 to 3rd place. I think IZOD pays $10,000,000 per season. Anyone who knows the exact amounts is welcome to confirm or correct my information.
